With five children, busy mornings, and dark skin prone to pigmentation, founder Sonia Deasy wanted to create a vitamin C product that would deliver maximum benefits and slot seamlessly into her existing skincare routine without causing irritation.

Sonia’s vitamin C product ended up being two years in the making, with 15 prototypes developed and rejected. The 16th and final prototype finally met Sonia’s stringent standards and is now the vit C darling of the skincare scene – Vitamin C 2 Phase Serum.
The problem with most Vitamin C serums is that they tend to feel sticky on the skin, don’t sit well under makeup, lose potency quite quickly when exposed to light, and cause irritation. Vitamin C 2 Phase Serum combines three types of highly stable, non-irritating vitamin C blended with skin-brightening natural extracts, stored inside the bottle in 2 phases – an oil phase and a water phase. When the product is pumped, both phases are mixed together in one perfect, velvety dose of serum.

Drawing inspiration from her heritage in Indian Natural Healing, Sonia added natural tamarind to clarify, soothe, and brighten the skin. This powerhouse natural ingredient has been used for centuries throughout India to remedy a lacklustre complexion and in fact, Sonia’s Indian grandmother would often mix tamarind with milk to use as a facemask for dull skin.
So, Vitamin C 2 Phase Serum is the result of two years trial and error, combining natural extracts with three types of vitamin C at 16% concentration to give you brighter, smoother, more radiant skin.
